A. Cách sử dụng tính từ so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất
- Tính từ so sánh hơn dùng để so sánh hai sự vật, hiện tượng và theo sau bởi than.
- Ví dụ: Cuốn sách này ngắn hơn cuốn kia. → This book is shorter than that one.
- Tính từ so sánh nhất dùng để so sánh ba hoặc nhiều hơn sự vật, hiện tượng và có the đứng trước.
- Ví dụ: Đây là cuốn sách ngắn nhất tôi từng đọc. → This is the shortest book I have ever read.
Lưu ý:
- Than được dùng sau tính từ so sánh hơn để thể hiện sự so sánh giữa hai đối tượng.
- Ví dụ: He is taller than his brother. (Anh ấy cao hơn em trai của anh ấy.)
- The đứng trước tính từ so sánh nhất để chỉ một đối tượng vượt trội nhất trong một nhóm.
- Ví dụ: This is the best movie I’ve ever seen. (Đây là bộ phim hay nhất tôi từng xem.)
B. Cách hình thành tính từ so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất

C. Cách sử dụng trạng từ so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất
- Trạng từ so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất được hình thành tương tự như tính từ.
- The trước trạng từ so sánh nhất là tùy chọn.
- Ví dụ: Cô ấy chạy nhanh hơn anh ấy. → She runs faster than him.
- Ví dụ: Cô ấy chạy (the) nhanh nhất trong cuộc đua. → She runs (the) fastest in the race.
